Board Members

 

Frank Ros

Frank retired as Vice President, Hispanic Strategies for The Coca-Cola Company where he was responsible for management of the Latin Affairs department. 

He serves on the Board of Trustees of WellStar Health System and the University of Georgia’s J. W. Fanning Institute for Leadership Development.  He has served on the Board of Trustees of the University System of Georgia Board of Regents Foundation, Leadership Georgia, University of Georgia Latino Council, the Greater Atlanta Community Foundation, the Pinnacle Orthopedic Research Institute and a number of Corporate Advisory Boards of prominent national Latino-focused organizations.

A graduate of the University of Georgia, he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1982 and his Masters' degree in 1984. While at Georgia, he was selected Academic All-SEC and Permanent Team Captain of the University of Georgia's 1980 National Football Champions. He is a past recipient of the University of Georgia Chapter of the National Football Foundation and Hall of Fame Post-Graduate Award. He is the 2009 recipient of the Bill Hartman Award, one of the highest honors given to a former UGA student-athlete. He was recently inducted into the Hispanic Scholarship Fund Hall of Fame.

Born in Barcelona Spain, Frank lives in Kennesaw, Georgia with his wife, Jan. They have two sons, Frank VI and Bryce.

Jan Ros

Jan is retired from a thirty-year career in Public Relations/Marketing and Development.  

Born in Atlanta, Jan graduated with a B.A. in Communications from Auburn University.  Upon graduation, she enjoyed a career in public relations and advertising working with some of Atlanta’s largest corporate accounts including Chick-fil-A and Coca-Cola.   She then moved to an Atlanta area private school as Development Director where she served for nine years.   Jan spent her lasts eight years of employment as the Development Director at Eagle Ranch, Georgia’s largest Christian children’s home.

Jan is a former member of the Board of the Atlanta Auburn Alumni Club,  The Marietta National Memorial Day Association and The Georgia Planned Giving Council.  She and her husband are members of North Metro Church in Kennesaw where Jan serves on the Leadership Team for North Metro’s Stephen Ministry Program.  She and her husband Frank were members of the Leadership Georgia Class of 2000 and co-chairs of Leadership Georgia’s first international program held in Costa Rica in 2010.

Steve Googasian

Steve is a graduate of the University of Michigan with a B.A. in English Language and Literature, and a J.D. from University of Detroit Mercy while leading trials as an Assistant Prosecutor in Detroit, Michigan. He served as General Counsel for a national retail chain, a Complex Gift Attorney, and is currently a SME and Assoc. Corp. Counsel for the National Christian Foundation for Supporting Organizations.

He has served in leadership positions with the Advisory Board for the English department at the University of Michigan, the Indianapolis Great Banquet, as an ordained Elder for Kirk in the Hills Church, SpringHill Camps, Federal, State and Local Bar Associations, and Kairos Prison Ministries.

Steve enjoys adventures in God’s wilderness, inventing, and woodworking. He and his wife Mary Beth have been married for 35 years, and enjoy traveling, and spending time with their three adult children, Sara, Henry, and Jack.

Mary Beth Googasian

Mary Beth earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication from the University of Michigan and a Master of Arts degree in Applied Communication from Indiana University.

After several years working as a marketing account director and executive speechwriter for General Motors, she stayed home to raise their three children. She returned to her professional career as a publicist for Harper Collins Christian Publishing and currently serves as Director of Corporate Communications for the National Christian Foundation.

Mary Beth is a former Board Member of the Alumni Association of the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She and her husband Steve are members of Fellowship Bible Church, Roswell, where she serves as a Stephen Minister. In her spare time she has trained two golden retriever therapy dogs and enjoys volunteering with them by her side.

Jeff and Artina Sandlin

Jeff and Artina Sandlin have lived in the Atlanta area since 1997. They currently reside in Canton where they have lived since 2001. They have 5 children together and 3 Grandbabies with 2 more expected in 2023. Jeff and Tina met in college while both were in school in the Atlanta area. Artina graduated from the Art Institute and Jeff from Univ South Carolina after transferring from GA State after completing his first 3 years. Artina is an artist and has remained active utilizing her talents in multiple platforms ranging from freelance artwork, murals, paintings, design and teaching Art in various schools. Jeff will begin his 30th year in the pharmaceutical industry moving into 2023 where he currently is employed with Novartis Pharmaceuticals. The Sandlin's have been active with their church and community throughout their marriage supporting ministries and leading multiple home groups over the years. Together they served on the First Board of Directors for the King's Academy in the Atlanta area where they served in the schools beginning. Jeff has served on the Boards of FCA for Cherokee county and Serv International which provides over 7 million meals across the globe and locally as well as providing an orphanage in Africa. 

 The Sandlin's first came to PCM when one of their children went through a Prodigal journey 17 years ago. Their experience of being in a PCM support group led them back to the ministry in 2017 where they led their first home support group. Their belief was that God did take them through this journey not to run away from it but to use it as a platform to help other parents. They are passionate about being able to serve other parents going through a Prodigal season. They currently lead a Fall and Spring session lasting for 10 weeks each time. During Covid they transitioned their PCM support group to Zoom and they have remained active with that platform since converting. The Zoom format has enabled many families outside of the Atlanta and Georgia area to be a part of PCM. They have had participants all across the Southeast, Midwest, Northeast, Texas and Costa Rica where the parents there are planning on starting their own support group in 2023.
